What is your problem? Shifty is receiving the calls and finding out where the quotes are from, so doesn't have time to deal with your baseless accusations. I suggest you trust what we are saying, or quit playing.

Cove, you are not paying attention to anything at all. The phone # came from the numbers of the pages that TACHYON marked in the book FROM THE DROP. So to call this a gamejack is to call the entire drop from Sunday a gamejack. Are you making that claim?

First of all, let me say that whether it's a gamejack or not, I'm not going to discount it immediately just because it didn't happen to YOU, covedweller. Having interacted with shifty quite a bit since this game began, I can assure you that he has just as much respect for the rules as anyone, and is not the kind of person to fake phone calls to make himself look cool. Especially not 30 of them. I would hope everyone on these forums has better things to do with their time.

That said, it may be a gamejack, of which shifty is just the primary victim. I'm not ruling that out yet, although it seems to me that if the calls are coming as a result of shifty calling the VM#, and if they consist entirely of LG15-related quotes, it's unlikely. If it IS a gamejack, someone we don't know has hacked into that phone #, and we need to be more worried about personal security than anything else.

For now, I would recommend that instead of jumping to conclusions about whether this is God speaking to us or shifty's ego, we all calm down and try to deal with what we've been given. Thank you.

I said what Shifty said about getting stupid sound clips in phone calls was a Gamejack. Why on Earth would the OpAphid/Tachyon PMs use a LonesomeOctober clip? That is not a canon character/video. The rest of it doesn't fit with the voicemail above either.

Jonas isn't confimed either. HOWEVER, remember the purity in the order? Some got called some didn't. Chess got called well before a number of others. Did we doubt her? No. We poured over the chat log to try to figure out what she had done.

RE: ARGs in general. This is not uncommon. If Shifty is pulling shit, shame on him, but I doubt that. He'd get excommunicated if Tachyon denies this. It wouldn't be worth it.
